Egypt: Demonization or Displacement Acceptance!

The battle became clear and unmistakable: an attempt to demonize Egypt, hurling every vile accusation against it in a desperate effort to save “Hamas” and its backers (as well, Israel) from the responsibility for the great crime unfolding before our eyes.. The obliteration of the Palestinian cause.

This systematic campaign relies on confusing the Arab, international, public opinion, and even within Egypt itself. The goal is to conceal the bitter truth beneath the noise. The “Al-Aqsa Flood”, which was promoted as a clear victory, ended in the greatest catastrophe in the history of the Palestinian cause: over 60,000 martyrs, the complete destruction of the Gaza Strip, and the displacement and starvation of an entire people, with no notable political or liberation gains.

Because the failures and conspirators refuse to acknowledge their crimes, it was necessary to find a scapegoat, They targeted Egypt to distort its image, be besieged with accusations, and be pushed into a defensive stance instead of leading the real battle against the displacement project.

What we witness today is not just propaganda or media deception. It is an alliance where seemingly contradictory interests converge, the global Zionist movement on one hand, and Islamist groups led by the Muslim Brotherhood on the other. In reality, it is a coalition united by a single goal: to exhaust Egypt, derail its path of development, and break its firm position rejecting displacement, so that the gates of Sinai can be opened for a calamity far worse than the first Nakba.

Cairo openly rejected the project, despite the temptations offered: strategic support, billions of dollars in investments, and settlements of border and water challenges. All this was the initial price for Egypt’s silence and acquiescence to displacement. But the refusal was explicit and clear: no displacement on Egyptian soil, no bargaining over Palestine’s fate.

Today we stand at a true crossroads: Either submitting to the equation of “gains for silence,” whereby Egypt reaps historic financial solutions, support, and international guarantees in exchange for looking the other way on the displacement issue — mere silence.

Or holding firmly to the principled, moral, and national stance and being prepared to bear the consequences and face the expected challenges, however bitter the scenarios may be.

Anyone who knows Egypt and understands its history and steadfast stances realizes that this great country does not bargain away the essence of its cause nor sell its moral compass. This is a confrontation between the great Egypt and an evil project that transcends borders and maps — a project that seeks to crush what remains of Palestine and drown the region in a whirlpool of displacement and chaos.

Through its stances, Egypt is not only defending its borders but affirming that it is the final bulwark safeguarding the survival of the Palestinian cause.
